In this class, boys and girls will develop technique, learn exciting choreography, and acquire the confidence to perform. Students will learn hip hop fundamentals and history while also gaining personal style, and increasing physical strength, flexibility and stamina. We will Juju on the beat to new and popular music that will feel like a dance party! Students will perform for parents on the last day.
Tuesdays, Grades 2-6 - Dr. Patterson

Sewing Club is a small group setting where we learn skills and have fun creatively. This is a great community of makers and we hope you will join us. Sewing Club is for everyone! We will learn about sewing by making simple projects with fabric. We will make hats, stuffed animals, and gifts for our friends. We will learn to measure and cut fabric and we will all learn to use a sewing machine. Each Sewing Club member will receive a personal mini sewing machine to keep.
Wednesdays, Grades PreK-6 - Ms. Kachelmeyer

Come experience different forms of play, movement, positivity and a non-competitive approach to a beginning yoga practice! Join us as we create community while having fun improving balance, coordination and overall body awareness.
Wednesdays, Grades PreK-1 - Ms. Camacho
Girls Club Jr. is an energetic and fun filled experience for all little girls. We will play, create, build and try new things. All activities are specially chosen for little ones to master while having a good time. Rooted in all of these activities is our classic Girls Club message "We can make the world a better place just by being ourselves. Girls can do anything!" Hope to see you there!
Wednesdays, Grades 4-6 - Ms. Hillway
Students will learn the tools and tricks of Adobe Flash to bring their own short clips to life. They will understand some of the different ways you can animate inside the program like frame to frame, motion tweening, shape tweening and rigging a character to be moved like a puppet. They will integrate sound and do some basic lip syncing. Projects will include creating an animated GIF to be used as an avatar, an animated greeting card, and more!
Thursdays, Grades PreK-6 - Mr. Kelly
Boys and girls alike will develop their basketball skills while engaging in fun and meaningful drills on the hoops court! Passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding and defending will all be taught so everyone can become successful basketball players. We'll learn about the rules of the game so we can play fun basketball games for each skill that is introduced. Throughout the trimester, we'll enjoy some friendly competition in the form of scrimmage games. Watch out Steph Curry, the next generation is coming for you! Parents are invited to Friends and Family Day for the last class of the trimester.
Thursdays, Grades 3-6 - Ms. Reyna
Art Club kids develop new skills and talents while designing unique creations using a variety of wonderful materials. Each class focuses on exploring new techniques and expanding self-confidence while creating imaginative projects and understanding the power of self-expression. Clay for Days session is a class for kids to focus on creativity and explore the endless possibilities of clay while developing hand-building skills. We will be experimenting with ceramic clay, polymer clay and modeling clay. Join the fun and prepare to get your hands dirty!
Thursdays, Grades PreK-2 - Ms. Murano
Gymnastics technique will be taught with warm-up, stretches, tumbling/floor-work, and basic balance beam skills. Achieve coordination, strength, balance, and flexibility, while building a great foundation for advanced gymnastics, dance, or other sports! There will be a share for parents on the last day of class.
Fridays, Grades 2-6 - Ms. Camacho
Have you ever wanted to try a bunch of different things to get a feel for all the talents inside of you? Well then, Girls Club is the place for you! Why be boxed into one talent? Maybe you have many! Through crafts, engineering, science, arts, cooking and sports activities, we will learn about friendship, empowerment, accomplishment, leadership and camaraderie. Come join us as we navigate activities that show girls can do anything. Don't be afraid to try new things. Hope to see you there!
