Have you ever wanted to create clothing for your favorite dolls? In this spring trimester sewing club we will be working with patterns created for American Girl Dolls to learn about patterns, cutting, and joining. Sewing Club provides a small group setting where we learn skills and have fun creatively. Sewing club is for everyone—it’s a great community of makers and we hope you will join us. We will learn about sewing by making simple projects with fabric, such as bags, hats, balls, stuffed animals, and gifts for our friends. We will learn to measure and cut fabric and we will all learn to use a sewing machine.
(Mini personal sewing machines are available for purchase at $40/machine.)

Girls Club Jr. is an energetic and fun-filled experience for younger girls. They’ll play, create, build, and try new things. All activities are specially chosen for little ones to master while having a good time. Rooted in activities is our classic Girls Club message: “We can make the world a better place just by being ourselves. Girls can do anything!”

Is your daughter interested in exploring her talents and building new skills? Then Girls Club is the place for her! Why be boxed into one talent or skill? She can learn many! Through crafts, engineering, science, arts, cooking and sports activities, we will learn about friendship, empowerment, accomplishment, leadership, and camaraderie. Join us as we navigate activities that show girls can do anything. Hope to see you there!
From cities to settes we will build little awesome things out of cardboard and glue. Do your children want to make a set for a stop-motion movie? Perhaps they dream of a divine dining set for their favorite action figures. Maybe your child’s American Girl doll needs a cardboard horse to ride around town? If children can dream it, we can build it together. By focusing on kids’ imaginations, we will learn how to plan and build amazing things with cardboard!
